The Department of Biotechnology began offering research-based postgraduate degrees in 2010. To date, seven postgraduate students have enrolled, and have successfully completed their degrees. Postgraduate students typically join as research assistants on funded research grants (such as NRC, NSF, and CARP) led by academic staff, which provide a monthly stipend. Additionally, several research opportunities without a stipend are frequently available. Research assistant positions are announced as they become available. Prospective postgraduate students should contact the Head of the Department or specific academic staff members for further information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
