My professional life begins with the acquisition of B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.) degree majoring in Horticulture and Landscape gardening from the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka\u00a0(WUSL<\/a>) in 2012 and Hig. Dip in Computer technology (University of Colombo). Immediately I was recruited as a demonstrator to the department of Horticulture and Landscape gardening and then was appointed as Lecturer (Prob.) in 2014. Since 2012<\/strong> I have been researching on plant diseases in a range of crops including fruits, vegetables, flowers, field and plantation crops.\u00a0 Expertise in disease diagnosis, understanding disease behavior, designing management strategies. I believe multidisciplinary approaches with new technology allows better agricultural crop management.
