Congratulations\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/span>to Ms. Amanda Bandara, our young academic from the\u00a0<\/span>Department of Horticulture and Landscape Gardening<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>Faculty of Agriculture and Plantation Management<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>Wayamba University of Sri Lanka<\/span><\/a>\u00a0winning three titles of awards, including 1. Best oral presentation in the session of Soil health, Crop production and Sustainable Agriculture, 2. Overall best presentation at the 37th PGIA annual congress – 2025 and 3. PGIA Alumni Award with cash prize- Winner from among the students of the PGIA for the presentation at the 37th PGIA annual congress. Ms. Amanda is a lecturer at the department and also a proud alumna. She is currently pursuing her postgraduate studies in collaboration with PGIA in the area of Assessment of Nutritional Quality of Lettuce as Affected by Iron- and Zinc-Enriched Nutrient Management Techniques.
