  • Evaluation of the impact of fertilizer application using Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology in Sri Lankan tea (Camellia sinensis (L.) O. Kuntze) cultivation
  • Determination of effect of firewood moisture on made tea output in black tea manufacturing.
  • Identification of supply chain vulnerability factors in Sri Lankan tea industry.
  • Effect of vermiwash and combined effect of vermiwash and inorganic liquid fertilizer as foliar application on the yield and cost of production of tea manufacturing.
  • Evaluation of ideal firewood mix as thermal energy source for tea (Camellia sinensis) drying process in upcountry, Sri Lanka.
  • Determination of caffeine content of coffee by changing its processing criteria.
  • Impact of incorporating beekeeping system for oil palm plantation

INDUSTRY COLLABORATIONS

  • Coordinated and lead the faculty of agriculture and plantation management, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Horan Plantations PLC in the year 2021. Currently both parties get benefits. Many avenues are opened to conduct research and sharing technical know how helps the company to increase the quality and quantity of production in their plantations.
