Prof. JC Edirisinghe

Jagath Chaminda Edirisinghe holds a PhD in Agricultural and Food Economics from the University of Reading, United Kingdom. He also holds an Mphil. in Agricultural Economics from the Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture. He has conducted research in the areas of Agricultural Economics and Environmental Economics.

He started his research carrier as an Agricultural Economist at the Rubber Research Institute of Sri Lanka, where he was involved in many local as well as foreign collaborative researches. He joined the Department of Agribusiness Management in the Faculty of Agriculture and Plantation Management as a lecturer in the year 2005.
