Prof. Udith K. Jayasinghe-Mudalige is the Vice-Chancellor of the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka (WUSL). He serves as the Senior Professor and the Chair of Dept. of Agribusiness Management, Faculty of Agriculture & Plantation Management of WUSL.

He is a recipient of the ‘Fulbright Teaching & Research Fellowship’ (USA); ‘Endeavour Postgraduate Research Fellowship’ (Australia); ‘Senior Fellow of Staff & Educational Development Association’ (SFSEDA, UK); ‘Certified Development Project Manager’ (CDPM®, USA) and ‘Chartered Environmental Professional’ (CEnvP., SL) as well as the ‘Presidential’ ‘National Research Council’, ‘National Science Foundation’, ‘Young Scientists’ and University Research Awards in multiple occasions to remark his contribution as an academician / researcher globally.

He served as an Invited Expert / Team Leader / Collaborating Scientist for over 60 International / National Grants and Consultations and published over 150 articles in peer-reviewed Journals / Reports / Textbooks etc. Further, he disseminated the outcomes of his work in over 400 symposia / conferences held in Sri Lanka and in over 25 countries and act as Expert Resource Person to over 500 International / Local Institutional / Program Reviews and Seminars / Workshops organized by government / non-government / private institutions.

He has been offered a Member / Life Membership in more than 20 global and local professional bodies, including the IASSL, IEPSL, INSEE, NSSL, SANDEE, SAEA, SLEA, SHE, SLAAS, SLAFAR, SLAIHEE, SLAQ etc.
